1992-Present:

Principal, TechServ Inc., Business Development, Eufaula, Alabama. Provides proposal volume leadership and consulting services to assist clients in securing government contracts. Developed company's Key Personnel Evaluation and Resume System, KeyPERS, to combine and apply lessons learned in over 20 years of personnel development. Prepared position descriptions and resumes and screened key personnel to specific qualifications criteria for bids noted below. Companies supported and winning efforts totaling $22 billion include:

 

1986-1992:

Self Employed, Business Development and Merchandising, Barrington, Illinois. Developed staffing plans, key personnel sections, resumes, and experience profiles for proposal development clients. Prepared 45 resumes for the $1.4 billion DOE/Strategic Petroleum Reserve M&O bid and 60 resumes for the $195 million U.S. Navy/Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) bid, both of which were successful. Companies supported in proposals and winning bids totaling $1.9 billion included:

 

1981-1986:

Marketing Services Manager, PLT International, Inc., Houston, Texas. Planned, organized, and developed technical proposals for oil field engineering and construction projects, with emphasis on large oil pipeline engineering and field installation projects. Developed media advertising and promotional materials for three operating companies and two overseas corporations. Participated in the successful 1981 proposal worth $350 million to operate and maintain the U.S. Department of Energy Strategic Petroleum Reserve's seven sites in Louisiana and Texas, and assisted contract start-up operations by writing and producing initial set of 45 contract deliverables.

 

1975-1981:

General Manager/Principal, Best Writing Services, Inc., Houston, Texas. Developed marketing plans, prepared proposals, and produced technical manuals for clients. Oversaw a resume preparation service comprised of six technical writers who also prepared technical manuals and marketing literature.

 

1969-1975:

Instructor, University of California, Davis, California. Instructed Latin American, European, and Chinese regional industrial development and labor movement development. Traveled internationally to conduct extensive on-location research in international labor practices and movements in Hong Kong, London, Lisbon, Macao, and the U.S.
